Fashion & Design One Place Shoot

Last night, the Barking Dawgs shot yet another part of the upcoming "One Place" campaign. This time, fashion students played the starring roles. When "One Place" is complete, the goal is to show the broad range of majors and activities students can enjoy when they attend SIU.

Here you see the girls taking their places while Ryan (pictured) and the rest of the Barking Dawgs make sure the shot looks exactly the way they want.

Ryan and Chris work on some last minute changes while the girls stand in their places awaiting instructions.

One of Barking Dawgs' very own, Kyle Tezak, was nominated for the Rickert-Ziebold Trust Award. According to SIUC's School of Art and Design's website, every year seniors in the school are eligible for the Rickert- Ziebold award.

The Rickert-Ziebold Trust Award is an annual prize totaling $20,000. The estate of the late Marguerite L. Rickert-Ziebold endows the awards in honor of the Joseph Rickert family. Joseph Rickert was a prominent lawyer and state senator from Waterloo.

Finalists for the 2009 Rickert Ziebold Trust Award were announced on March 5. Kyle and the other 15 finalists will install the exhibition on Saturday, April 18, and faculty will judge the work on Monday, April 20, with the announcement of the winners that afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

It would be great if you could come out and support Kyle on April 18; however, many of you have hectic schedules, so it would be great if you could just leave some encouraging comments on the blog for Kyle.

Welcome Back Ryan!!!

Meet Ryan...Ryan has returned to Barking Dawg Productions after having been gone for four months. Before he left, Ryan was one of the oldest and most seasoned members of the creative team. Ryan decided to return to Barking Dawg because he enjoyed the work as able to take part in projects he was passionate about while also building a quality resume which would highlights his creative talents... with that being said, it would only be appropriate to have Ryan answer the same questions as the rest of the members of the creative team so that we can learn a little bit more about him. Lawson 151 serves as a set for one of the "One Place" shoots.

Actual SIUC students serve as extras for this part of the "One Place" commercial. They try to stay attentive despite the slight distraction of the Barking Dawg crew.
